FAQs
1. What happens if my student is very behind grade level?
We complete a thorough assessment during the first two sessions and then build a customized plan that meets each student where they are.
2. My student loves math, is gifted and bored in class. Can you still help?
Yes! We love to give those students who need an extra challenge the confidence they need to keep growing in their math journey.
3. My child has a learning difference that makes math extra hard. Can they make progress?
Math IQ works because we understand that each student is worth so much more than their last math score. After identifying strengths and weaknesses in the very beginning, we will often step back 1-2 skills levels and start there. This allows us to get to know each other, calms their anxiety and gives them a confidence boost from the start.
4. How do I know this will work?
Math IQ has been fortunate to walk with our students as they meet goals and exceed expectations. From a 267% increase in iReady scores to a year’s worth of progress in 3 months, our students’ measurable reports of growth make us so proud!
5. Can my family afford this?
Math IQ was born out of a desire to serve ALL students. We keep our services accessible by keeping prices affordable. Our private sessions run about half the cost of the regional average. Homeschool high school equals out to just $12 per session! And all without sacrificing quality - small class sizes, a wide variety of tools, and exceptional educators.
